About We Care WA

Who Are WE?
Our Story
We Care WA is a dynamic organisation committed to enhancing the strength and capacity of individuals with psychosocial disabilities. As a registered NDIS service provider, our goal is to promote independence among people with disabilities or mental illness across the WA metropolis. With over thirty years of combined experience, we've developed specialised expertise in three key areas: Supported Independent Living (SIL), Individualised Living Options (ILO), and Community Participation.
Our Founders
We Care WA was born from a partnership between Tryness and Aaron, who worked alongside each other for 7 years as Disability Support Workers. During this time, they discovered they shared the same attitudes and values toward support work. Their shifts together were always fun and exciting, consistently resulting in happy residents and excellently delivered services.
While working in the field, Tryness pursued further education, qualifying as a Mental Health Registered Nurse before specialising in mental health community nursing. This clinical expertise complements the practical knowledge she gained through years of direct support work.
Aaron brings 20 years of valuable experience to We Care WA, working across diverse settings, including group homes and community-based support. His extensive background in different service environments has given him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within disability support services.
Our dedicated team applies the values that brought our founders together: respect, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a commitment to making every interaction positive and empowering.
Our Commitment
We Care WA is dedicated to creating individualised support solutions that enhance lives. Drawing on over 30 years of combined experience, we work collaboratively with each person to identify goals, overcome challenges, and build the skills needed for greater independence. We believe in looking beyond disability to see the whole person, with all their strengths, interests, and potential, delivering in a holistic manner.
Our core values are:
- Empathy: We strive to promote a compassionate attitude towards individuals and families we work with.
- Respect: We hold everyone in high regard, regardless of their past or present circumstances.
